There was a small surprise when eighth ranked MLP Academics Heidelberg (6-5) defeated on the road 6th ranked Kirchheim Knights (6-6) 81-68. MLP Academics Heidelberg players were unselfish on offense dishing 22 assists. Americans were the main players on the court. It was a good game for guard Jaleen Smith (193-94, college: New Hampshire) who led his team to a victory with 26 points and 9 rebounds. Swingman Shyron Ely (193-87, college: Evansville, agency: Slash Sports) contributed with 13 points and 4 assists for the winners. Guard Rohndell Goodwin (195-91, college: Chaminade) replied with 25 points and point guard Dajuan Graf (185-92, college: N.C.Central) added 11 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists in the effort for Kirchheim Knights. Four Kirchheim Knights players scored in double figures. MLP Academics Heidelberg moved-up to fifth place. Kirchheim Knights lost third consecutive game.
