CSM Targoviste managed to secure a 8-point victory 71-63 on Saturday. The hosts trailed by 4 points after first quarter, but they rallied back to get the 8-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 71-63. The best player for the winners was the former international guard Ancuta Stoenescu (175-80) who scored 18 points, 7 rebounds, 4 assists and 5 steals. The former international Gabriela Irimia (182-90) chipped in a double-double by scoring 13 points and 10 rebounds. Serbian guard Brankica Hadzovic (175-81) produced 26 points and American center Leeza Burdgess (194-90, college: La Salle) added 7 points and 17 rebounds respectively for the guests. CSM Targoviste moved-up to fourth place in Nationala. Loser ICIM Arad dropped to the fifth position with five games lost.
