The game in Dnipro was also quite interesting. Fourth ranked Niko-Basket (8-2) played at the court of 8th ranked Dnipro-2 (2-10). Niko-Basket defeated Dnipro-2 79-69 on Sunday. The game was mostly controlled by Niko-Basket. Dnipro-2 was better in fourth quarter 21-20. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. It was a good game for swingman Maksym Ozhegov (190-90) who led his team to a victory with 18 points and 5 assists. Guard Vladyslav Ryzhov (190-94) contributed with 23 points (on 8-of-9 shooting from the field) for the winners. Ihor Dubonenko (197-98) answered with 32 points and forward Roman Bondarchuk (196-98) added 10 points and 11 rebounds in the effort for Dnipro-2. Dnipro-2's coach Bogdan Frikke tested ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Niko-Basket moved-up to second place. Dnipro-2 lost their seventh game in a row. They keep the eighth position with ten games lost. Niko-Basket will have a break next round. Dnipro-2 will play on the road against Zolotoi Vek (#7) in Kirovograd and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
