There was a minor upset when 8th ranked Team Bonn/Rh. (2-6) was rolled over at home by eighth ranked BA Weser-Ems (2-6) 78-59 on Sunday. BA Weser-Ems outrebounded Team Bonn/Rh. 43-32 including 31 on the defensive glass. Worth to mention a great performance of Alexander Hopp (201-1) who helped to win the game recording 20 points and 4 steals and center Norris Agbakoko (215-0) who added 10 points and 11 rebounds during the contest. Four BA Weser-Ems players scored in double figures. Jonas Falkenstein (185-0) responded with 19 points and 5 rebounds and Marc Klesper (191-0) scored 8 points and 5 rebounds. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. BA Weser-Ems moved-up to seventh place in Group 2, which they share with defeated Team Bonn/Rh. Team Bonn/Rh. lost sixth consecutive game. BA Weser-Ems will have a break next round.
