No shocking result in a game when fifth ranked Ozel Gelisim Koleji (5-4) crushed at home 7th ranked Arel Univ (2-7) 87-65 on Sunday. Ozel Gelisim Koleji looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. Quite impressive performance for Arda Korkmaz (-0) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 13 points, 10 rebounds and 8 assists. Atahan Demirtas (-0) contributed with a double-double by scoring 17 points and 12 rebounds for the winners. Five Ozel Gelisim Koleji players scored in double figures. Aydin Tayfur (-0) replied with 15 points and forward Emincan Inan (196-0) added 7 points and 7 rebounds in the effort for Arel Univ. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Ozel Gelisim Koleji moved-up to fourth place. Arel Univ lost fifth consecutive game. They keep the seventh position with seven games lost. Ozel Gelisim Koleji will face league's second-placed Fenerbahce in Istanbul in the next round and it may be the game of the week. Arel Univ's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Istanbul Galatasaray.
