Regular Season Round 10: Bahcehir - TED Ankara 49-52

A very close game took place in (derby !!!) between TED Ankara and Bahcehir. Fourth ranked TED Ankara (6-3) got a very close victory on the road over 7th ranked Bahcehir (3-7). TED Ankara managed to escape with a 3-point win 52-49 on Sunday evening. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Bahcehir. Center Cihat Dalgali (205-1) notched a double-double by scoring 21 points, 13 rebounds and 4 blocks to lead the effort and guard Emir Buyukhanli (197-1) supported him with 10 points and 7 rebounds. Even 8 points and 13 rebounds by Berke Akcam (-0) did not help to save the game for Bahcehir. Ishak Saruhanoglu (-1) added 6 points and 9 rebounds for lost side. Bahcehir's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. TED Ankara maintains fourth position with 6-3 record. Loser Bahcehir dropped to the eighth place with seven games lost. TED Ankara will meet league's leader Pinar Karsiyaka in the next round and it may be the game of the week. Bahcehir will play against the league's second-placed Banvit (#2) and hope to secure a win.
