An interesting game took place in Klagenfurt where 4th placed UBC St. Polten (6-3) was upset on the court of tenth ranked KOS (4-5) 83-69. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of UBC St. Polten. The game without a history. KOS led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. It was a good game for Slovenian center Jaka Stemberger (201-92) who led his team to a victory with 26 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists. Slovenian point guard Jan Razdevsek (185-0) contributed with 15 points, 5 rebounds and 8 assists for the winners. Four KOS players scored in double figures. KOS's coach Dragan Sliskovic allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. Guard Nico Kaltenbrunner (192-0) answered with 23 points and 5 assists and forward Paul Koroschitz (196-94) added 16 points and 11 rebounds in the effort for UBC St. Polten. KOS moved-up to seventh place, which they share with 3 other teams. UBC St. Polten at the other side keeps the fourth position with three games lost. KOS's next round opponent will be higher ranked Raiders (#3) in Villach and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. UBC St. Polten will play at home against the league's leader Blackbirds where they are definitely not considered as a favorite in this game either.
