Regular Season Round 10: Sibiu - Dinamo B. 101-75
Date: December 4, 2018
Bottom-ranked CS Dinamo Bucuresti (0-7) tried to put together a comeback for its first victory of the season, but they fell short in the 101-75 loss to second ranked Sibiu (5-2) in Sibiu. But it was rather predictable considering how strong their opponent was. The game without a history. Sibiu led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Sibiu outrebounded CS Dinamo Bucuresti 39-21 including a 14-2 advantage in offensive rebounds. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 27 assists. Lithuanian Justas Tamulis (196-94) notched 25 points to lead the effort and American-German forward Isaiah Philmore (203-89, college: Xavier) supported him with 19 points and 5 rebounds. Four Sibiu players scored in double figures. Sibiu's coach Dan Fleseriu felt very confident that he used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Even a double-double of 15 points and 12 rebounds by American power forward Justin Baker (203-89, college: Utah Valley) did not help to save the game for CS Dinamo Bucuresti. His fellow American import point guard Michael Deloach (188-86, college: Norfolk St.) added 21 points and 5 assists for lost side. Sibiu maintains second position with 5-2 record behind leader Voluntari. CS Dinamo Bucuresti at the other side still closes the standings with seven games lost. Sibiu's next round opponent will be Pitesti (#6) on the road. CS Dinamo Bucuresti will play against the league's leader Craiova and hopes to get finally their first victory.
