Regular Season Round 10: Bakken - Naestved 110-86

The game between Top Four teams took place in Risskov. First ranked host Bakken (10-1) smashed 4th ranked Naestved (6-5) 110-86. The hosts trailed by 6 points after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 3-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 110-86. Bakken dominated down low during the game scoring 74 of its points in the paint compared to Naestved's 44. Bakken forced 21 Naestved turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 29 assists comparing to just 14 passes made by Naestved's players. Americans were the main players on the court also this time. Forward Ryan Evans (202-90, college: Wisconsin) fired 24 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners. Guard Tobin Carberry (193-91, college: LIU Post, agency: HMS) chipped in 16 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists. Carberry is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top summer league for players who want to play basketball overseas. Bakken's coach Steffen Wich felt very confident that he used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Point guard PJ Thompson (178-96, college: Purdue) produced 24 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists and Jordan Mathews (191-94, college: Gonzaga) added 21 points and 5 rebounds respectively for lost side. Defending champion maintains first position with 10-1 record. Naestved lost third consecutive game. They keep the fourth place with five games lost. Bakken will meet at home Vaerlose (#3) in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Naestved will play against Stevnsgade and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
