Regular Season Round 9: LTH Castings - Parklji 71-69

Important game to mention about took place in Skofja Loka. Sixth ranked LTH Castings (4-4) saved a 2-point victory at home edging 3rd placed Parklji (4-3) 71-69 on Friday evening. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Parklji. Parklji was tied at the half but could not keep up in last two quarters eventually losing the game. Power forward Sedin Karavdic (203-95) stepped up and scored 20 points and 8 rebounds for the winners and guard Boris Jersin (185-85) chipped in 7 points, 5 rebounds and 9 assists. The best for the losing side was guard Matic Urbas (188-93) with 19 points, 9 rebounds and 6 assists and Milan Kovacevic (200-96) scored 15 points and 9 rebounds. Parklji's coach Nejc Kobale tested ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. LTH Castings moved-up to fifth place, which they share with Hrastnik and Celje. Parklji at the other side keeps the third position with three games lost. They share it with Triglav. LTH Castings will play against Hrastnik (#7) in Zasavlje in the next round. Parklji will play on the road against Portoroz (#11) and hopes to get back on the winning track.
