Very important is a road loss of second ranked Rilski (6-2) against eighth ranked Yambol (2-6) on Saturday night. Visiting Rilski was defeated by Yambol in a tough game in Yambol 88-92. Nigerian-American center Augustine Okosun (209-86, college: Keiser) nailed 18 points and 8 rebounds for the winning side and American guard Isaiah Williams (188-95, college: Georgia St.) accounted for 18 points and 4 assists. Williams is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. American power forward Tony Gugino (207-86, college: Hillsdale) came up with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 15 rebounds and the former international guard Yordan Bozov (191-79) added 19 points respectively for Rilski in the defeat. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. Yambol moved-up to seventh place, which they share with Academic Sofia. Rilski at the other side keeps the second position with two games lost. They share it with Beroe. Yambol will play against Academic Sofia (#7) at home in the next round. Rilski will play against Cherno More (#9) in Varna and hopes to get back on the winning track.
