Regular Season Round 13: Langenhagen - ALBA Berlin II 82-79

Very expected game when 15th ranked ALBA-2 (1-12) was edged on the road by fourth ranked Langenhagen (9-4) 82-79 on Saturday. However just three-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. Langenhagen forced 30 ALBA-2 turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. Quite impressive performance for center Marcel Schwarz (203-90) who helped to win the game recording 24 points and 8 rebounds. Point guard Arthur Zaletskiy (183-94) contributed with 20 points and 5 steals for the winners. Dutch forward Quinten Post (212-0) answered with a double-double by scoring 18 points and 10 rebounds and Elias Roedl (195-2) added 11 points in the effort for ALBA-2. Four ALBA-2 players scored in double figures. ALBA-2's coach tried various players' combinations and tested in total eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. Langenhagen moved-up to third place in North, which they share with Goetting.ASC. ALBA-2 lost their tenth game in a row. They keep the fifteenth position with 12 games lost. Langenhagen will face league's leader Wolmirstedt on the road in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. ALBA-2 will play against WSG Koenigs (#8) and hope to win that game.
