There was no surprise when 10th ranked Bamberg (5-7) lost on the road to fifth ranked Muenchen OSB (7-5) 67-54 on Saturday. Muenchen OSB made 16-of-21 free shots (76.2 percent) during the game. Quite impressive performance for American guard Omari Knox (188-86, college: Bloomfield) who helped to win the game recording 18 points. Swingman Giacomo May (195-94) contributed with 8 points and 15 rebounds for the winners. American power forward Robert Ferguson (203-85, college: St.Joseph's) answered with a double-double by scoring 12 points and 12 rebounds and guard Michael Lachmann (192-89) added 11 points and 7 rebounds in the effort for Bamberg. Bamberg's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. The victory was the fourth consecutive win for Muenchen OSB. They moved-up to fourth place in South-East, which they share with Treuchtlingen. Bamberg lost their fifth game in a row. They keep the tenth position with seven games lost. Muenchen OSB will face Schwabing (#8) on the road in the next round. Bamberg will play against Goldbach and hope to win that game.
