Regular Season Round 13: Kronberg - Tuebingen II 96-100

Very expected game when 12th ranked Kronberg (4-8) lost at home to fifth ranked Tuebingen II (7-5) 100-96 on Saturday. Kronberg was plagued by 27 personal fouls down the stretch. Quite impressive performance for Rouven Hanig who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 18 points and 16 rebounds. Point guard Nils Schmitz (186-1) contributed with 17 points for the winners. Noah Litzbach (196-0) answered with 23 points and 9 rebounds and Daniel Medo (197-95) added 19 points and 8 rebounds in the effort for Kronberg. Five Tuebingen II and four Kronberg players scored in double figures. Tuebingen II moved-up to fourth place in South-West, which they share with Saarlouis/Dillingen. Kronberg lost their third game in a row. They dropped to the ninth position with eight games lost. Tuebingen II will face league's leader Koblenz at home in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Kronberg will play against HAKRO Merlins II (#13) in Crailsheim and hope to win that game.
