Regular Season Round 13: Stahnsdorf - Goetting.ASC 64-77

An interesting game for Goetting.ASC (9-4) which played road game in Stahnsdorf against their biggest opponent RSV Eintracht (10-2). Third ranked Goetting.ASC managed to get a 13-point victory 77-64. It ended at the same time the nine-game winning streak of RSV Eintracht. Guard Andrew Onwuegbuzie (192-95) nailed 16 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists for the winning side and American center Matthew Husek (211, college: Holy Cross) accounted for 15 points and 10 rebounds. Five Goetting.ASC players scored in double figures. Swingman Sebastian Fuelle (193-92) came up with 17 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists and center Moses Poelking (206-97) added 10 points and 8 rebounds respectively for RSV Eintracht in the defeat. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Goetting.ASC maintains third place in North with 9-4 record having just two points less than leader Wolmirstedt, which they share with Langenhagen. Loser RSV Eintracht keeps the second position with two games lost. Goetting.ASC will meet at home Vechta-2 (#12) in the next round and are hoping to win another game. RSV Eintracht will play against Bergedorf (#9) in Hamburg and hope to secure a win and be promoted back to the ProB just one year after relegation.
