Very predictable result when fourth ranked Bursaspor (6-2) outscored at home 12th ranked Edirne (2-6) 82-52 on Saturday. Bursaspor dominated down low during the game scoring 44 of its points in the paint compared to Edirne's 20. They outrebounded Edirne 39-27 including 24 on the defensive glass. Bursaspor looked well-organized offensively handing out 28 assists comparing to just 14 passes made by Edirne's players. Serbian power forward Dejan Borovnjak (207-86, agency: BeoBasket) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 13 points and 14 rebounds (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field) for the winners and point guard Erbil Eroglu (194-93) chipped in 12 points and 6 rebounds. Four Bursaspor players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was forward Omer Gogus (201-89) with 17 points and 8 rebounds and center Ismail Esmeray (207-86) scored 15 points and 6 rebounds. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Bursaspor moved-up to third place, which they share with Duzce Bld. Edirne lost their fourth game in a row. Newly promoted team keeps the twelfth position with six games lost. Bursaspor will meet Selcuklu (#5) on the road in the next round. Edirne will play against Ankara D.S.I. (#14) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
