Regular Season Round 13: Treuchtlingen - Bad Aibling 107-83

No shocking result in a game when fourth ranked Treuchtlingen (7-5) crushed 11th ranked Bad Aibling (3-9) in Treutchlingen 107-83 on Saturday. Treuchtlingen made 36-of-41 free shots (87.8 percent) during the game, while Bad Aibling only scored fifteen points from the stripe. Treuchtlingen looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. Bad Aibling was plagued by 29 personal fouls down the stretch. Quite impressive performance for swingman Peter Zeis (196-89) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 23 points, 11 rebounds and 7 assists (made all of his ten free throws !!!). Forward Stefan Schmoll (196-89) contributed with 14 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners. Treuchtlingen had such big advantage that coach Stephen Harlander felt comfortable to give the chance to play for 11 players and allowed the starting five to get some rest. Guard Simon Bradaric answered with 27 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists and guard Marco Hack-Vazquez (191-96) added 12 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists in the effort for Bad Aibling. Five Treuchtlingen and four Bad Aibling players scored in double figures. Treuchtlingen maintains fourth place in South-East with 7-5 record, which they share with Muenchen OSB. Newly promoted Bad Aibling keeps the eleventh position with nine games lost. Treuchtlingen will face Jena II (#13) on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Bad Aibling will play against Vilsbiburg and hope to win that game.
