Regular Season Round 7: Amager - SISU 70-65

The game between Top Four teams took place in Kastrup. Second ranked host Amager (5-2) defeated 4th placed SISU (3-3) 70-65. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of SISU. Amager made 21-of-26 free shots (80.8 percent) during the game, while SISU only scored four points from the stripe. They outrebounded SISU 35-19 including 17 on the offensive glass. It was a great evening for American forward Valerie Driscoll (193-92, college: Quinnipiac) who led her team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 25 points and 14 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field). Her fellow American import Geraldynn Malama (-96) helped adding 19 points. At the losing side American forward Aubrey Buckley (188-95, college: Missouri St.) responded with a double-double by scoring 20 points and 10 rebounds and Canadian guard Nofuente Ceejay (173-93, college: Humber) scored 20 points. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Newly promoted Amager maintains second place with 5-2 record behind leader Horsholm, which they share with Aabyhoj. SISU at the other side keeps the fourth position with three games lost. Amager is looking forward to face league's leader Horsholm at home in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. SISU will play against the league's second-placed Aabyhoj and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
