Very expected game in Sarajevo where 11th ranked Bosna-Royal (1-6) was defeated by seventh ranked Kakanj (4-3) 75-66 on Saturday. Kakanj dominated down low during the game scoring 50 of its points in the paint compared to Bosna-Royal's 20. They outrebounded Bosna-Royal 46-24 including a 32-20 advantage in defensive rebounds. Power forward Igor Josipovic (205-88, agency: PEPI SPORT) fired a double-double by scoring 21 points and 11 rebounds (on 9-of-10 shooting from the field) for the winners. Forward Haris Curevac (198-96) chipped in 12 points and 5 rebounds. Kakanj's coach used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Forward Atif Durak (187-97) produced 19 points and Mirsad Pilavdzic (195-96) added 11 points and 6 assists respectively for lost side. Four Bosna-Royal players scored in double figures. Kakanj moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Sloboda Tuzla. Bosna-Royal lost third consecutive game. They stay at the bottom position with six games lost. Kakanj will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Bosna-Royal will play again against Kakanj (#4) and hope to win that game.
