There was no surprise in Sakiai where 11th ranked Ezerunas (8-11) was crushed by fourth ranked Vytis (10-8) 104-84. Vytis dominated down low during the game scoring 60 of its points in the paint compared to Ezerunas' 38. They outrebounded Ezerunas 41-16 including a 26-9 advantage in defensive rebounds. The winners were led by forward Marijus Uzupis (198-93) who had that evening a double-double by scoring 31 points and 13 rebounds (on 12-of-15 shooting from the field) and forward Karolis Brusokas (202-91) supported him with 16 points, 12 rebounds and 4 assists (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field). Even 17 points, 5 rebounds, 8 assists and 4 steals by forward Arnas Berucka (196-97, agency: Octagon Europe) did not help to save the game for Ezerunas. Forward Raimundas Ambrulaitis (200-82) added 11 points for the guests. Five Vytis and four Ezerunas players scored in double figures. Despite that victory Vytis went down to sixth position due to points difference. Ezerunas at the other side dropped to the tenth place with 11 games lost. Vytis' next round opponent will be Silute (#7) on the road. Ezerunas will play against Jonava and hope to win that game.
