Regular Season Round 10: Piraten - Mustangs 67-99

The game in Klagenfurt supposed to be also quite interesting. Sixth ranked Mustangs (5-5) played at the court of 8th ranked Worthersee Piraten (5-5). Mustangs smashed Worthersee Piraten 99-67 on Saturday. The game without a history. Mustangs led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists comparing to just 10 passes made by Worthersee Piraten's players. Czech forward Vladimir Sismilich (202-85) scored 30 points and 9 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and Czech swingman Michal Kremen (198-81, agency: Octagon Europe) chipped in 12 points, 14 rebounds and 12 assists during the contest. At the losing side Slovenian forward Matic Sirnik (198-91) responded with 19 points and 7 rebounds and guard Lukas Simoner (190-99) scored 18 points and 6 rebounds. Five Mustangs and four Worthersee Piraten players scored in double figures. Worthersee Piraten's coach gave up on the game allowing to play ten players seeing no chance for a win. Mustangs maintains sixth position with 5-5 record, which they share with Piraten and Flames. Mustangs will meet at home higher ranked Lions (#5) in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Worthersee Piraten will play against the league's second-placed Raiders in Villach and hope to secure a win.
