Regular Season Round 6: Kozachka-KPU - Dynamo-NPU 39-72

Superleague top team - Dynamo-NPU (9-3) had no problems winning another game. This time they crushed ninth ranked Kozachka-KPU (2-11) in Zaporozhye 72-39. The game without a history. Dynamo-NPU led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Kozachka-KPU to just 7 points in first and fourth quarters. Dynamo-NPU held Kozachka-KPU to an opponent 19.7 percent shooting from the field compared to 49.2 percent accuracy of the winners. Dynamo-NPU players were unselfish on offense dishing 29 assists comparing to just 9 passes made by Kozachka-KPU's players. They brought some defensive toughness making 8 blocks. The best player for the winners was Nataliia Tsiubyk (178-98) who had a double-double by scoring 15 points and 11 assists. Dynamo-NPU's next round opponent will be Interkhim (#6) in Odessa where they are favorite. Kozachka-KPU will play at home against Chaika and hope to win that game.
