Another exciting game was a derby match between two local teams from Muenchen: Akademie Muenchen (#2) and Jahn Muenchen (#7). Akademie Muenchen (6-1) crushed visiting Jahn Muenchen (1-7) by 41 points 97-56. Akademie Muenchen dominated down low during the game scoring 66 of its points in the paint compared to Jahn Muenchen's 34.
