Regular Season Round 13: Heidelberg - Rostock 81-82

The most exciting game of round 13 in the ProA took place in Heidelberg. This derby game ended with only one-point home defeat of 6th ranked MLP Academics Heidelberg (7-6) to fifth ranked Rostock (7-6) 82-81 in the game for the fourth place. Canadian forward Yannick Anzuluni (205-87, college: Houghton) fired 19 points and 4 assists for the winners. Point guard Martin Bogdanov (186-92) chipped in 11 points and 7 assists. American swingman Shyron Ely (193-87, college: Evansville, agency: Slash Sports) produced 22 points and the other American import guard Eric Palm (188-87, college: McKendree, agency: Slash Sports) added 17 points respectively for lost side. Four MLP Academics Heidelberg players scored in double figures. Rostock moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Heidelberg and Ehingen. Rostock is looking forward to face league's second-placed Hamburg on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. MLP Academics Heidelberg will play against Walter Tigers in Tuebingen and is hoping to prove to their supporters that this time they can win.
