Regular Season Round 10: Lions - BBU S. 84-60

There was no surprise in Dornbirn where 10th ranked BBU (4-6) was crushed by fifth ranked Lions (6-4) 84-60 on Sunday. The game without a history. Lions led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They also forced 21 BBU turnovers and outrebounded them 45-30 including 31 on the defensive glass. Lions looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists comparing to just 9 passes made by BBU's players. Spanish forward Javier Medori (202-93) had a double-double by scoring 12 points, 20 rebounds and 5 assists to lead the charge for the winners and Spanish guard Ander Arruti (191-90) chipped in 21 points and 9 assists during the contest. Four Lions players scored in double figures. Lions' coach Borja San Miguel felt very confident that he used 10 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. At the losing side Greek guard Dimitris Mouratoglou (197-84) responded with 18 points and 6 rebounds and Spanish forward Guillermo Sanchez (200-91) scored 7 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists. Lions have a solid four-game winning streak. They maintain fifth position with 6-4 record. BBU lost fourth consecutive game. They dropped to the ninth place with six games lost. They share the position with KOS. Lions will meet Mustangs (#6) in the next round. BBU will play against Flames and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
