It looked good early as Mariupol took a 9-point lead at the end of first quarter. But then Kharkivski Sokoly took control getting tie in the second period and winning the second half and eventually winning the game that evening by 1 point. Forward Roman Olkhovskyi (196-90) saved the victory with a double-double by scoring 13 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists. Guard Sergiy Olkhovikov (186-91) contributed with 16 points for the winners. Point guard Roman Bey (191-95) answered with 22 points and Gleb Buzko (193-92) added 15 points, 7 rebounds, 6 assists and 4 steals in the effort for Mariupol. Kharkivski Sokoly have an impressive series of seven victories in a row. They maintain second place with 11-3 record having just three points less than leader Prometey. Mariupol lost fifth consecutive game. They dropped to the fourth position with seven games lost. Kharkivski Sokoly will play against Kremen (#9) in Kremenchuk in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Mariupol will play on the road against Dnipro-2 (#8) and hopes to get back on the winning track.
