A very interesting game took place in Braunschweig. It ended with only one-point defeat on the road of 9th ranked EnBW Ludwigsburg (4-5) to eleventh ranked Braunschweig (4-6) 100-99 on Sunday evening. Braunschweig players were unselfish on offense dishing 22 assists. 28 personal fouls committed by EnBW Ludwigsburg helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. American power forward Scott Eatherton (206-91, college: Northeastern, agency: BeoBasket) notched a double-double by scoring 22 points and 17 rebounds to lead the effort and the other American import guard DeAndre Lansdowne (188-89, college: Fort Lewis, agency: BeoBasket) supported him with 32 points. Even 27 points and 9 rebounds by American forward Kelan Martin (201-95, college: Butler) did not help to save the game for EnBW Ludwigsburg. Naturalized American Adam Waleskowski (203-82, college: Florida St.) added 21 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists for lost side. Five EnBW Ludwigsburg players scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players in such tough game. Braunschweig maintains eleventh position with 4-6 record, which they share with Goettingen. EnBW Ludwigsburg at the other side keeps the ninth place with five games lost. Braunschweig's next round opponent will be Eisbaeren Bremerhaven (#16) on the road where they are favorite.
