The most surprising game was the first loss of undefeated AB Baskets (6-1) on the court of fifth ranked Rostock Seawolves on Sunday night. Visitors were defeated by Rostock Seawolves 85-73. It ended at the same time the six-game winning streak of AB Baskets. Rostock Seawolves made 21-of-27 free shots (77.8 percent) during the game. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Rostock Seawolves made 7 blocks. It was a good game for Serbian Filip Skobalj (202-2) who led his team to a victory with 26 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Rostock Seawolves (4-4) moved-up to fourth place in Group 1, which they share with Piraten Hamburg. AB Baskets at the other side still keep top position with one game lost. Rostock Seawolves is again looking forward to face league's leader AB Baskets in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. AB Baskets will have a break next round.
