Very important is a road loss of third ranked Piraten (4-4) against eighth ranked Berlin T. (3-5) on Sunday night. Visiting Piraten was defeated by Berlin T. in a tough game in Berlin 60-64. It ended at the same time the six-game winning streak of Piraten. Berlin T. forced 20 Piraten turnovers. The best player for the winners was Dwayne Koroma (203-1) who scored 18 points and 6 rebounds. Luca Lukacevic (203-0) chipped in 11 points and 8 rebounds. Berlin T.'s coach allowed to play the deep bench players in such tough game. At the other side the best for losing team was Aleksandar Postic (195-0) who recorded 21 points and 9 rebounds and Linus Hoffmann (198-2) added 12 points and 7 rebounds respectively. Four Piraten players scored in double figures. The victory was the third consecutive win for Berlin T.. They moved-up to sixth place in Group 1, which they share with Eisbaeren Brem. Piraten at the other side dropped to the fourth position with four games lost. Berlin T.'s next round opponent will be Eisbaeren Bremerhaven (#6) at home.
