Important game to mention about took place in . Fourth ranked Turk Telekom (5-5) saved a 3-point derby victory on the road edging 6th ranked Tarsus (3-6) 90-87 on Sunday evening. Tarsus was plagued by 24 personal fouls down the stretch. It was an exceptional evening for Burak Gozeneli (-0) who led the winners and scored 31 points, 9 rebounds and 9 assists (was perfect 10-for-10 from the free throw line !!!). Zahid Isaoglu (-0) accounted for 15 points and 12 rebounds for the winning side. Turk Telekom's coach allowed to play the deep bench players in such tough game. Faik Kasikci (-0) came up with a double-double by scoring 20 points, 8 rebounds and 10 assists and Murat Guzelocak (-1) added 10 points, 11 rebounds and 6 assists respectively for Tarsus in the defeat. Five Tarsus players scored in double figures. Turk Telekom maintains fourth place with 5-5 record, which they share with Gelisim Koleji. Tarsus lost third consecutive game. They keep the sixth position with six games lost. Turk Telekom will play against Ozel Gelisim Koleji (#5) in the next round. Tarsus will play against Tofas and hopes to get back on the winning track.
