Very important is a home loss of second ranked BMS Skovlunde (3-7) against fifth ranked Randers (6-5) on Wednesday night. Host BMS Skovlunde was crushed by Randers in Skovlunde 107-78. The game without a history. Randers led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 60 of its points in the paint compared to BMS Skovlunde's 36. Randers forced 26 BMS Skovlunde turnovers. The former international forward Chris Nielsen (193-85) orchestrated the victory by scoring 28 points and 6 rebounds. American forward Dee Franklin (196, college: Ft.Valley St.) contributed with 26 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. Franklin is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. American point guard Austin Waddoups (188-93, college: Salt Lake CC, agency: Dynamics Global Management) answered with 21 points and forward Morten Bulow (204-99) added 11 points and 12 rebounds in the effort for BMS Skovlunde. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Randers have a solid series of three victories in a row. They maintain fifth place with 6-5 record. BMS Skovlunde at the other side keeps the second position with seven games lost. Randers will play against higher ranked Naestved (#4) at home in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. BMS Skovlunde will play against the league's leader Bakken and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
