Not a big story in a game when 8th ranked Vinnystkiye M. (2-8) was outscored by third ranked Chaika (7-3) in Berdiansk 85-50 on Wednesday. The game without a history. Chaika led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 54 of its points in the paint compared to Vinnystkiye M.'s 26 and made 16-of-20 free shots (80.0 percent) during the game. Chaika forced 23 Vinnystkiye M. turnovers and outrebounded them 45-32 including 16 on the offensive glass. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists. They maintain third position with 7-3 record having 2 victories less than leader Dynamo-NPU. Loser Vinnystkiye M. keeps the eighth place with eight games lost. Chaika will face bottom-ranked Kozachka-KPU (#9) in Zaporozhye in the next round where they are favorite.
