An exciting game between Top Four teams was played in Kastrup. Top-ranked Horsholm faced second-ranked Amager. Guests from Horsholm (8-0) defeated host Amager (5-3) 70-62. Strangely Amager outrebounded Horsholm 44-28 including 31 on the defensive glass. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of international forward Gritt Ryder (173-92, college: Colorado St.) who helped to win the game recording 12 points, 7 rebounds and 9 assists and Canadian forward Meg Wilson (188-94, college: Simon Fraser) who added 18 points and 5 steals during the contest. Horsholm's coach Jesper Krone Rasmussen used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. American forward Valerie Driscoll (193-92, college: Quinnipiac) responded with a double-double by scoring 16 points, 12 rebounds and 5 assists and her fellow American import Geraldynn Malama (-96) scored 15 points and 9 rebounds. Horsholm have an impressive seven-game winning streak. Defending champion maintains first position with 8-0 record. Newly promoted Amager keeps the second place with three games lost. They share the position with Aabyhoj. Horsholm will meet Herlev (#5) on the road in the next round. Amager will play against Stevnsgade and hope to secure a win.
