Very expected game when 16th ranked Bandirma Kir. (1-9) lost to sixth ranked Manisa (6-4) in Balikesir 73-83. Manisa players were unselfish on offense dishing 23 assists. American center Devin Searcy (208-89, college: Dayton) fired 19 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. The other American import guard Derrick Marks (190-93, college: Boise St.) chipped in 18 points and 5 assists. American forward Travis Taylor (203-90, college: Xavier) produced a double-double by scoring 18 points and 10 rebounds and Canadian guard Devoe Joseph (193-90, college: Oregon, agency: Interperformances) added 22 points and 5 assists respectively for lost side. Four Bandirma Kir. players scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Manisa have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to fifth place, which they share with Akhisar Bld. Bandirma Kir. at the other side stay at the bottom position with nine games lost.
