Power forward Jana Heinrich (188-86, college: San Diego St.) orchestrated the victory by scoring 19 points and 8 rebounds. Power forward Britta Worms (188-88) contributed with 19 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. Four TG Neuss players scored in double figures. Austrian-Hungarian forward Kata Takacs (185-91) answered with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 16 rebounds and forward Tonia Doelle (182-97) added 10 points and 7 rebounds in the effort for Osnabrueck SC. Osnabrueck SC's coach Mario Zurkowski rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. As mentioned above they are at the top of the standings, which they share with Opladen. Osnabrueck SC at the other side still keeps top place with one game lost. They share the position with B.Loewen. Osnabrueck SC will play next round against strong Baskets Grunberg trying to get back on the winning streak. TG Neuss will try to continue on its current victory against second ranked B.Loewen at home.
