The former international guard Sergei Popov (196-88) contributed with 9 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. Mykolaiv's coach Vitaliy Cherniy allowed to play the deep bench players in such tough game. American forward Kyndahl Hill (201-94, college: Weber St.) replied with 19 points and 7 rebounds and guard Yuriy Kondrakov (190-96) added 18 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists in the effort for Zaporizhye. Four Zaporizhye players scored in double figures. Mykolaiv maintains fourth position with 7-5 record. Zaporizhye at the other side dropped to the third place with six games lost. Mykolaiv will play against Kyiv Basket (#5) on the road in the next round. Zaporizhye will play against Cherkasy and hopes to get back on the winning track.
