Regular Season Round 12: Gmunden - Kapfenberg 85-87

The most surprising game was another loss of top-ranked Gmunden Swans (9-3) at the home court on Saturday night. Hosts were edged by fifth ranked Kapfenberg Bulls (8-4) 87-85. The guests took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But Gmunden Swans won fourth quarter 24-18. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Worth to mention a great performance of Serbian point guard Bogic Vujosevic (190-92) who helped to win the game recording 35 points (!!!) and 4 assists (on 13-of-17 shooting from the field) and American guard Elijah Wilson (193-94, college: Co.Carolina, agency: Mansfield and Associates) who added 23 points during the contest. The best for the losing side was American forward Devin White (203-88, college: SUNO) with a double-double by scoring 19 points, 14 rebounds and 4 assists and international forward Enis Murati (194-88, agency: Octagon Europe) scored 22 points and 5 rebounds. Defending champion moved-up to third place, which they share with Arkadia and Klosterneuburg. Gmunden Swans lost third consecutive game. They still keep top position with three games lost. Kapfenberg Bulls is looking forward to face Raiffeisen Flyers Wels (#9) at home in the next round where they are favorite. Gmunden Swans will play against UBSC Graz (#8) and are hoping to win this game.
