No shocking result in a game when ninth ranked Buyukcekmece (5-6) crushed on the road bottom-ranked Istanbul BBSK (2-9) 97-78 on Saturday. They outrebounded Istanbul BBSK 37-24 including 26 on the defensive glass. It was a great shooting night for Buyukcekmece especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 52.4 percentage. American guard Tu Holloway (183-89, college: Xavier) replied with 20 points and 5 assists and the former international point guard Mehmet Yagmur (188-87) added 17 points and 4 assists in the effort for Istanbul BBSK.
