NKL top team - Suduva-Mantinga (18-4) managed to deliver another win. This time they beat eleventh ranked Ezerunas (8-15) in Moletai 76-65. Worth to mention a quality performance of Aurimas Urbonas (198-93) who helped to win the game recording 15 points and 4 assists and the former international Aurimas Kieza (199-82, college: Hofstra) who added 16 points and 7 rebounds (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field) during the contest. The best for the losing side was forward Arnas Berucka (196-97, agency: Octagon Europe) with 13 points and 9 rebounds and center Ignas Lukosius (202-93) scored 8 points and 10 rebounds. Ezerunas' coach Tomas Purlys rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Suduva-Mantinga have an impressive five-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 18-4 record. Ezerunas at the other side dropped to the twelfth place with 15 games lost. Suduva-Mantinga will play against Zalgiris II (#10) in Kaunas in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Ezerunas will play on the road against Ereliai Mazeikiai and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
