Top ranked Chemnitz (13-2) recorded its second loss at the home court on Saturday night. Hosts were rolled over by sixth ranked Rostock (9-7) 88-68. It ended at the same time the 15-game winning streak of Chemnitz. American guard Tony Hicks (186-94, college: Louisville) fired 16 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. Canadian forward Yannick Anzuluni (205-87, college: Houghton) chipped in 12 points and 9 rebounds. American guard Matt Scott (193-96, college: Niagara) produced 14 points and swingman Jonas Richter (205-97) added 15 points respectively for lost side. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Rostock have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to fifth place. Chemnitz at the other side still keeps top position with two games lost. Rostock are looking forward to face Kirchheim Knights (#8) at home in the next round. Chemnitz will play against MLP Academics Heidelberg (#3) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
