The game between closely ranked teams ended with eleventh ranked Socar Petkim's (5-6) home victory over 12th ranked Final Spor (3-8) 85-63. Socar Petkim players were unselfish on offense dishing 21 assists. American power forward Markus Kennedy (206-91, college: SMU) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 21 points and 12 rebounds (perfect from the field making all seven shots !!!). Forward Mustafa Gorur (204-88, agency: 1x1 Sports) contributed with 22 points and 8 assists for the winners. American forward Lennard Freeman (203-95, college: NC State) answered with 22 points and 7 rebounds and the other American import LaceDarius Dunn (193-87, college: Baylor) added 25 points in the effort for Final Spor. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The victory was the third consecutive win for Socar Petkim. They moved-up to ninth place, which they share with Yeni Mamak and Artvin. Final Spor lost their third game in a row. Newly promoted team keeps the twelfth position with eight games lost. Socar Petkim's next round opponent will be Artvin (#9). Final Spor will play against Akhisar Bld and hope to win that game.
