There was no surprise when bottom-ranked CS Dinamo Bucuresti (0-10) lost on the road to fourth ranked Cluj Napoca (7-2) 96-89 on Saturday. CS Dinamo Bucuresti trailed by 14 points at halftime and as many as 18 after three quarters before a 29-18 last quarter charge cut the deficit to 89-96 at the end of the game. Cluj Napoca shot 63.8 percent from the field. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. American Kyndall Dykes (192-87, college: New Orleans) orchestrated the victory by scoring 26 points and 4 assists. American-Bulgarian center Jason Washburn (213-90, college: Utah, agency: Pensack Sports) contributed with 16 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. Dykes is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. American point guard Michael Deloach (188-86, college: Norfolk St.) replied with 24 points and 4 assists and his fellow American import point guard Willie Kemp (185-87, college: Memphis) added 10 points, 6 rebounds and 10 assists in the effort for CS Dinamo Bucuresti. Four Cluj Napoca and five CS Dinamo Bucuresti players scored in double figures. Cluj Napoca moved-up to second place, which they share with Voluntari. Loser CS Dinamo Bucuresti still closes the standings with ten games lost. Cluj Napoca will face Craiova (#3) on the road in the next round, which may be the game of the day. CS Dinamo Bucuresti will play against Pitesti and hopes to get finally their first victory.
