The game in Klagenfurt supposed to be also quite interesting. Second ranked Raiders (9-3) played at the court of 8th ranked Worthersee Piraten (6-6). Raiders smashed Worthersee Piraten 111-71 on Saturday. The game without a history. Raiders led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They shot 63.5 percent from the field. Raiders shot the lights out from three sinking 20 long-distance shots on high 55.6 percentage. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 28 assists comparing to just 9 passes made by Worthersee Piraten's players. The best player for the winners was Croatian Antonio Boban (205-93, agency: PEPI SPORT) who had a double-double by scoring 29 points, 10 rebounds and 5 assists (on 12-of-14 shooting from the field). Croatian forward Jasmin Perkovic (206-80) chipped in 16 points, 8 rebounds and 8 assists. Four Raiders players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was guard Lukas Simoner (190-99) who recorded 17 points and 5 rebounds and Slovenian forward Matic Sirnik (198-91) added 15 points and 5 rebounds (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field) respectively. Worthersee Piraten's coach gave up on the game allowing to play eleven players seeing no chance for a win. Raiders have an impressive six-game winning streak. They maintain second position with 9-3 record behind leader Rocks, which they share with Blackbirds. Loser Worthersee Piraten dropped to the sixth place with six games lost. They share the position with Flames. Raiders will meet at home Lions (#4) in the next round. Worthersee Piraten's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Klagenfurt KOS.
