Regular Season Round 19: Kharkivski Sokoly - Kremen 94-63

No shocking result in a game when second ranked Kharkivski Sokoly (12-3) crushed at home 9th ranked Kremen (2-14) 94-63 on Sunday. The hosts trailed by 6 points after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 9-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 94-63. Kharkivski Sokoly dominated down low during the game scoring 72 of its points in the paint compared to Kremen's 26. Worth to mention a great performance of guard Yaroslav Udodenko (187-87) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 17 points and 10 rebounds. Forward Vladislav Cheverdin (202-94) contributed with 17 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. Kharkivski Sokoly's coach Oleg Manoylenko felt very confident that he used 10 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Center Aleksandr Ryhljuk (208-84) answered with 13 points and 8 rebounds and forward Vladyslav Rozentsvit (198-95) added 13 points and 6 rebounds in the effort for Kremen. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. The victory was the seventh consecutive win for Kharkivski Sokoly. They maintain second place with 12-3 record having four points less than leader Ternopil-TNEU. Loser Kremen keeps the ninth position with 14 games lost. Kharkivski Sokoly will face SumDU (#7) in Sumy in the next round which should be theoretically another easy game. Kremen will play on the road against Dnipro-2 and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
