An exciting game between Top Four teams was played in Istanbul. Second ranked Istanbul Uni faced one of their biggest challengers Kircicegi B.. Host Istanbul Uni (1-9) defeated guests from Bodrum (0-10) 75-61. Istanbul Uni players were unselfish on offense dishing 23 assists. International center Ilayda Guner (186-99, agency: FlyBasketball) notched 19 points and 7 rebounds to lead the effort and American guard Imani Watkins (173-96, college: Binghamton, agency: Two Points) supported her with 13 points and 5 rebounds. Istanbul Uni's coach used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Even a double-double of 26 points and 15 rebounds by American center Brandi Harvey-Carr (193-94, college: Pittsburgh) did not help to save the game for Kircicegi B.. Serbian guard Milana Zivadinovic (179-91) added 11 points and 8 assists for lost side. Istanbul Uni maintains second position with 1-9 record behind leader Adana Basket. It was Kircicegi B.'s tenth loss in a row. Newly promoted team still closes the standings with ten games lost. Istanbul Uni's next round opponent will be league's leader Kayseri on the road and it will be for sure the game of the week. Kircicegi B. will play against the league's second-placed Hatay and hopes to get finally their first victory.
