Regular Season Round 12: OGM Orman - Yeni Mamak 81-72

There was no surprise in Ankara where 10th ranked Yeni Mamak (5-7) was defeated by second ranked OGM Orman (10-2) 81-72 on Friday. OGM Orman forced 19 Yeni Mamak turnovers. Worth to mention a great performance of Bosnian-Slovenian center Hasan Rizvic (212-84) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 18 points and 10 rebounds and guard Sercan Topcu (188-85) who added 20 points during the contest. Four OGM Orman players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was Erkan Yilmaz (198-86) with 8 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists and guard Alican Guney (194-89, agency: 1x1 Sports) scored 17 points. Both coaches tested many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. OGM Orman have an impressive nine-game winning streak. They maintain second position with 10-2 record behind leader Karesi Spor, which they share with Bursaspor. Yeni Mamak lost third consecutive game. Newly promoted team keeps the tenth place with seven games lost. They share the position with Artvin. OGM Orman will meet bottom-ranked Yalova Bld (#16) on the road in the next round which should be an easy win for them. Yeni Mamak will play against Edirne (#15) and hope to secure a win.
