Very predictable result when fifth ranked Manisa (7-5) beat at home 13th ranked Ankara D.S.I. (3-9) 75-58 on Saturday. Manisa dominated down low during the game scoring 40 of its points in the paint compared to Ankara D.S.I.'s 18. Worth to mention a great performance of American center Devin Searcy (208-89, college: Dayton) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 12 points and 10 rebounds and forward Gurur Baybora (195-90) who added 14 points and 6 rebounds during the contest. Four Manisa players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was point guard Berkay Demirci (180-91) with 12 points and swingman Kaan Sariaslan (193-97) scored 8 points and 5 assists. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Manisa have a solid four-game winning streak. Newly promoted Manisa maintains fifth position with 7-5 record, which they share with 3 other teams. Ankara D.S.I. lost sixth consecutive game. They dropped to the twelfth place with nine games lost. They share the position with Final Spor. Manisa will meet league's leader Karesi Spor on the road in the next round and it may be quite challenging game.
