Regular Season Round 11: Zlatorog - Sentjur 65-70

Everything could happen in Lasko at the game between two tied teams. Both eighth ranked Sentjur and 9th ranked Zlatorog had identical 4-6 record. But Zlatorog was not able to use a home court advantage and was defeated by the opponent from Sentjur 70-65. The guests took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But Zlatorog won fourth quarter 18-14. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Sentjur made 19-of-22 charity shots (86.4 percent) during the game. 25 personal fouls committed by Zlatorog helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. The best player for the winners was Croatian swingman Davor Konjevic (198-90, agency: PEPI SPORT) who scored 25 points and 8 rebounds. Sentjur (5-6) moved-up to sixth place, which they share with Rogaska and Sencur Gor. Zlatorog lost their third game in a row. They keep the ninth position with seven games lost. Sentjur's next round opponent will be league's second-placed P.Olimpija in Ljubljana and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Zlatorog will play at home against the league's leader Primorska (#1) and hope to win that game.
