Regular Season Round 15: Selcuklu - Istanbul BBSK 56-65

Very expected game when bottom-ranked Selcuklu (0-15) was defeated at home by fifth ranked Istanbul BBSK (7-8) 65-56 on Saturday. Selcuklu was plagued by 31 personal fouls down the stretch. The best player for the winners was Gaffar Cetin (-1) who scored 18 points. Ogulcan Koc (-0) chipped in 8 points and 6 assists. At the other side the best for losing team was Efe Celik (-1) who recorded 17 points and Ali Okmen (-0) added 7 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists respectively. Both coaches tested many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The victory was the fourth consecutive win for Istanbul BBSK. They maintain fifth place with 7-8 record. Selcuklu lost their twelfth game in a row. They still close the standings with 15 games lost. Istanbul BBSK will face Bahcehir (#7) in the next round. Selcuklu will play against Besiktas in Istanbul and hopes to get finally their first victory.
