Regular Season Round 13: Jezica - Konjice 77-48

No shocking result in a game when fourth ranked Jezica (7-6) crushed 6th ranked Konjice (4-9) in Ljubljana 77-48. The game without a history. Jezica led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They also forced 22 Konjice turnovers and outrebounded them 40-22 including a 29-18 advantage in defensive rebounds. Guard Sandra Bajrektarevic (170-90) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 22 points and 11 rebounds for the winners and the former international point guard Sara Meden (171-94) chipped in 18 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. At the losing side forward Neza Srot (181-0) responded with 10 points and guard Tea Ramsak (173-97) scored 8 points. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Jezica maintains fourth place with 7-6 record. Konjice at the other side keeps the sixth position with nine games lost. Jezica will play against Maribor (#5) at home in the next round. Konjice will play against the league's second-placed Triglav in Kranj and hopes to get back on the winning track.
